J.Crew July Round-Up

I've recently realized that the arrival of my monthly J.Crew catalog and the deposit of my paycheck are somehow timed in perfect unison. This creates a several issues for me, all of which revolve around too little money with too much to purchase. After several deep breaths I opened this month's issue, and was thrilled to find the announcement of J.Crew's second sponsorship of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. The feature showcases up-and-coming design team Creatures of the Wind and their four-piece limited-edition collection for J.Crew. Drawing inspiration from the psychedelia and rebellious youth culture of the '60's, this duo puts their unique spin on the signature J.Crew silhouette. Did I mention they hail from Chicago? I'm betting this won't be the last buzz we hear from Creatures of the Wind. Check out their collection and some of my favorite pieces from the July Style Guide above.
